Hello Everyone,
Let me just start by saying how proud I am of your student. I enjoyed meeting with each of my students last week and seeing the growth and improvement each of them have made. These next 7 school days are going to be very busy. This week we will be eating lunch in the lunchroom on Wednesday. Thursday is our end of the year picnic. Please meet us in the classroom at 10:30 for a short program and then we will go outside for a picnic. Don't forget your lunch and blanket! There is no school on Monday, May 31st.(Memorial Day) Tuesday is Field Day. We will be outside most of the morning so don't forget sunscreen. Also, we have some water games planned so have your student wear clothing that can get wet.(No swimsuit) Wednesday, June 2nd is the last day of Kindergarten. It will be a regular scheduled day.(8:55-11:40) Home reading books need to be returned by Friday, May 28th at the latest. Since this is my last blog post this year, I want to thank you so much for all your help and support. I have loved being your child's teacher this year and wish them and you the very best. Thank you again.

Hi Everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all you great moms!
I want to thank all of you for making teacher appreciation week so nice for me. I appreciated all the notes, flowers, cards, treats, and the kind words of encouragement from you! Wow, the year is winding down very quickly. We have a lot planned these next few weeks in our classroom. I have listed below several dates that you need to be aware of.

End-of-Year Testing- May 17th-21st. A note came home early last week that stated testing would only be May 17th-19th. This is an error, and your child will be out the whole week.

May 26th- Students eating lunch in lunchroom.

May 27th- End of year picnic. 10:30 in our classroom.

May 31st- Memorial Day No school.

June 1st- Field Day 10:00-11:30

June 2nd- Last day of Kindergarten. Regular Schedule

Please call if you have any questions. Thanks again.

Hi Everyone. I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. It's May already and it is going to be a very busy month! Wednesday (May 5th) is Zoo Day. Don't forget to pack your child a lunch that day and please be on time. We will be leaving around 9:00 and returning to the school in between 1:00-1:15. You will need to provide transportation home from school that day. There will not be a bus available at 1:15 to take your child home. If I have contacted you to be a chaperone, please be in my room at 8:45. I have some information that I need to distribute. Don't forget testing week (May 17th-21st). You should have received your testing day and time already. If you did not receive this information, please call me. Also, we will be having a class end-of-the-year picnic on THURSDAY MAY 27TH AT 10:30. More information will be coming. I will be submitting the last book order of the year on Tuesday. If you would like to order, please order before Tuesday. Thank you aging for all your support! I am looking forward to summer, but I will miss your children very much. It is always bittersweet!

Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a great spring break! What is up with this weather!?! Hopefully you went somewhere warm and sunny for the break. We will have a spelling test this week. It will be on Friday. If you have not handed in the reading and homework calendars for March please do so as soon as possible. We have two months left of the school year...can you believe it? Let's continue to work hard on reading and give it one more big push so the students will be ready for first grade. There is no more snack time in our classroom, so please make sure your child gets a good breakfast before he/she comes to school. Animal reports begin this week. I am so excited to hear what your child has learned about his/her animal. If you have any questions please call me. Have a great week!
