Happy Groundhog Day! February is off to a great start. Writer's Workshop continues to be going well. I love how the students are expressing their ideas through writing. I will share your child's journal with you next month at SEP Conferences. I will be sending home two very important letters on Wednesday. Please check your child's backpack for them. One of the notes is about a 100th Day of School activity that we have asked your student to do at home and return to school. The other note is about Walking Report Card which will be held on Friday, February 19th. This note needs to be signed and returned by February 12th. February 5th-Book Orders Due

February 10th- 100th Day homework due

February 12th- Walking Report Card note due. Class Valentine Party. Valentine's can be brought to school on Feb. 11th or 12th. A class list will not be coming home. Instead have your child write his/her name on the line where it says who the valentine is from and leave who the valentine is to blank. We have 23 students in our class.
